Was going well with Take A Little Piece of My Heart until Simon stopped her, than began with an Ooh la la la la on If I Ain't Got You - surely they should be looking primarily for people who can actually sing? The vocal coach should take care of the rest (think Jodie on I'd Do Anything!)



And Dominic, again the doubts - but I felt he should've gone through two years ago - when you think of the one they put through who simply couldn't cut it live ...

Jemma returns with Miss Fitz - I thought Simon made a mistake not putting her through to the live show two years ago - terrific vocal. Bit worried when they said they were doing Britney but have to admit this was fab!



And Jamie Archer - we're actually seeing some great peformances in this new format - it's certainly sorting out those who can do it in a live show and those that can't.

We’re in the car and Wham’s Everything She Wants comes on the radio and Matt says:

“D’you remember that man on X Factor in 2005 who sang this and Louis and Simon walked out and then they came back and they all said no. Cos he was rubbish. And then he got all annoyed and swore at the cameraman and the police took him away?”

Er …no! Amazing memory, my Matt. Anyone else remember that?
